Philopappos Hill

Also known as Muses hill, Philopappos Hill is nestled in the heart of Athens’ city center overlooking the Parthenon. It is a favorite for Athenians and tourists alike, an ideal place to take a stroll or rest, have a picnic and admire the sensational views. Aside from the Philopappos Monument, there are numerous landmarks and sites of archaeological interest scattered all over the hill.
